I am originally from Amarillo, TX. My husband and I relocated to Midland, TX in 2017 with our four children.
In 2017 our oldest daughter gave birth to our first granddaughter, Baileigh Rose Marie. Even though I had given birth to four children of my own, one being a VBAC, and had experienced two miscarriages, this birth was the scariest of them all! My baby was having a baby and it wasn’t going to be an easy task for her. She had to have an emergency cesarean. I could no longer be in fear! I had to now encourage, support, and be the rock for this young new mom. This experience projected me into my desire to become your doula!
As a certified Birth Boot Camp doula, I feel honored to be able to share my knowledge with women and their families. In addition to physical support during labor, my role is also to encourage a woman to advocate for the birth she desires. I provide both labor and postpartum services. The support and wisdom that a doula offers to a laboring mom is essential.
