Anthus will be hosting a neonatal resuscitation program (NRP) on March 9th. This class will teach life-saving skills for neonatal resuscitation. This NRP course is tailored toward family-centered care, delayed cord clamping, water birth, and facilitation of transport to a higher care center when indicated. This will be led by Kirby Archer, an NRP instructor and NICU nurse based out of Lubbock.
While geared toward medical providers, this class is also open to the public for parents, caretakers, and non-licsensed birth workers.
The online curriculum must be completed prior to class. For all midwifery students and licensed personnel, the $55 Advanced Curriculum is needed. If a doula or non licensed person would like to complete the training, it is the $45 Essentials Curriculum. That site can be found here. Please email your NRP registraton info (i.e. global ID, email, and name on account) to the instructor at kirbyarcher@yahoo.com.
Once the online curriculum and in-person class are completed, you will receive a certificate of completion on your NRPlearningplatform account.
