Birth Stories Night: The Hard Stories

  • Anthus 4425 West Wadley Avenue Midland, TX, 79707 United States (map)

Offering space for the birth experiences that didn’t go the way you wanted…

This Birth Stories Night we will be offering space for women who have experienced a traumatic birth. This encompasses any type of adverse or unexpected outcome to mom or baby that caused emotional trauma.

This will be led by Amanda Bartlett, RNC-MNN, CLC, who has worn many hats here at Anthus, such as postpartum support coach, class instructor, and postpartum support group leader. She is a nurse and a mom of three, with her own story of trauma during childbirth. She works with MoMMA’s Voices, an organization that focuses on improving maternal healthcare nationwide.

We know firsthand how healing it can be to share your story and hear other stories similar to your own, so we encourage you to join us. That being said, there is no pressure to share if you don’t want to.

All women are welcome to attend this night, but we do caution against attending if you think this will place fear in your heart for your upcoming birth experience. This is not our goal — please attend at your own discretion.

Free event with light snacks provided. Non-mobile babies are welcome to join.
